The hotel was centrally located which was great for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast had a good selection of food and was reasonably priced.

The hotel was let down by the noise levels. The walls were paper-thin and we could hear every step from the room above us and the noise in the hallways.

Had a great Xmas stay at this hotel. Loved the fact that it was located in the heart of the city, making it easy to go around for shopping and dining. the new facilities offer a comfortable stay with fresh linens and modern furniture. the meals were excellent and had a decent selection of dishes.

There wasn't much to be disappointed about the stay, except for the parking facilities. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have its parking, and the nearby car park was a bit expensive.

I had a great stay and couldn't fault anything.

The location of the hotel was great, right in the city centre of St Albans. It was very close to shops and within walking distance of train stations. one downside was that it was directly opposite a night club. the bass from the club could be heard until it closed at 2 am, which made it difficult to sleep.

The lack of soundproofing in the rooms was a major negative aspect. the noise from the night club made it hard to have a restful night's sleep.
